Christopher Schulz, a PhD candidate in Geography at the University of Edinburgh, the James Hutton Institute (Aberdeen) and Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC), Edinburgh, recently became the first scholar of the Hydro Nation Scholars Programme to finish his studies.

Hydro Nation Scholar, Bas Buddendorf will be attending the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall meeting in San Francisco in December. Bas will be giving a talk titled 'Spatio-Temporal Effects Of River Regulation On Habitat Suitability For Juvenile Atlantic Salmon: Implications For Ecosystem Functioning.' Hydro Nation Scottish-Indian Entrepreneurship Programme 2016-2017
In the run up to the launch of the Scottish Government's Hydro Nation Entrepreneurs Programme, a number of the Hydro Nation Scholars have met with programme organiser Adam Purvis, Power of Youth to give their thoughts on meeting the needs of the global water sector and engaging with entrepreneurs in Scotland and India. A number of scholars will also attend the Hydro Nation Entrepreneurs Summit in Edinburgh in September 2016.

Newton Fund Researcher Links Workshop in Brasilia, Brazil, 20-24th July 2016
